Business Development Associate/ Executive
We are a 35-year Taiwanese company behind the Lao Tao Ke brand, known for our signature winter melon tea bricks and brown sugar solutions for beverage businesses. We support B2B customers with products and services such as supply, customisation, and partner-ready solutions for drink chains and foodservice. Our clients include Xing Fu Tang, Milksha, Costco, and 100+ well-known global brands. With a strong foundation built over three decades, we’re growing our Malaysia presence, starts from small, and building a high-performing local team. Requirements
Intermediate English (B1 Level or above) and Fluent Bahasa Melayu required (reading& speaking)
Comfortable with outreach, follow-up, and client-facing communication
Preferred: experience in F&B Wholesale and/or F&B event organiser environment
Own transport preferred (client visits & events)
Hybrid & flexible (office min 1x/week for meetings)
Associate starts from RM3,050+; Executive starts from RM4,800+.

Core Responsibilities
Cold calling / cold email to generate and qualify leads
Visit potential clients and build relationships (on-site meetings)
Attend industry events, networking sessions, and trade activities
Follow up with clients: quotations, feedback, closing, after-sales care
Maintain and update pipeline in CRM / tracking sheet
Coordinate internally for fulfilment, promotions, and client needs
Supportive Tasks (from time to time)
Support planning/executing product demos, sampling, or mini roadshows
Prepare simple proposals/decks and pricing comparisons
Identify new channels/partnership opportunities (distributors, key accounts)
Market intel: competitor tracking, customer insights, territory mapping
Support event booth coordination and lead capture
Help develop sales playbooks / outreach scripts / customer segmentation
